I thoroughly enjoyed The Walk and the picturesque scenery of Hampshire. The lead up to Winchester Cathedral was especially breathtaking. You can’t beat the British countryside.
The event was well organised and the downloadable route map easily accessible and made it simple for a novice like me. I also enjoyed the useful emails with interesting tips and advice in the lead up.
A lovely experience in the beautiful Hampshire countryside – stretching challenge to the Cathedral (18miles via a couple of detours) but meet & greet at key points was a nice touch and offer of tea/coffee/water was lovely too. Seeing the Keria flag by the cathedral was a great sight!
I took on the walk as I was looking for something to do that would challenge me but not take hours every day for months to train for. The Walk was fun, about the perfect length: long but not too challenging and it was great to get modernisation into map reading.
